Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cups uncooked white rice

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

  • 1 can cream of celery soup

  • 1 can water (using the soup can)

  • 1/2 stick butter, melted

  • 4-6 chicken tenders, skinless and raw

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Prepare the Rice Mixture:

    • In a sprayed 9×13 inch baking dish, combine the uncooked white rice, diced onion, cream of chicken soup, cream of celery soup, and water. Mix everything together until well combined.

  3. Add the Chicken:

    • Place the raw chicken tenders on top of the rice mixture in the baking dish.

  4. Top with Butter and Seasoning:

    • Drizzle the melted butter over the chicken and rice mixture.

    • Season with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.

  5. Bake:

    • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.

    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.

  6. Serve:

    • Once baked, remove the dish from the oven.

    • Serve hot, spooning the chicken and rice onto plates.
