Drew & Jo Ann Hodges completed the 15-room home of their dreams in 2017. The Virginia couple talked with Honest Abe Log Homes about their journey to find the right land, the right plan and the right company to create their 6″×10″ square, chinked log home with 2,100 square feet of indoor living space and more than 900 square feet of outdoor living areas.

Kenny Rogers Chili

In 2001 WSM Radio collected recipes from music celebrities for Honest Abe’s Cookin for the Cure book that raised money to help local victims of cancer. Kenny Rogers and wife Wanda submitted their recipe for their favorite Chili, a savory dish just right for cool fall supper or a tailgating event.

Honest Abe Log Homes has been celebrating 40 years in business during 2019.

On Oct. 18 our employees and retirees, their families, our Independent Dealers from across the country and our suppliers shared a meal and memories.

Hosted by Honest Abe’s owners, the Smith family, at Acres of Grace Farms, the event included presentation of Honest Abe Log Homes Memories & Stories, a company history by Honest Abe’s first president, Rick Denton.
