Custom Honest Abe Log Cabin Brought Homeowners $3.2 Million in Recent Sale
This beautiful Honest Abe log cabin has been featured in Log Cabin Homes and Log Home Living. It started when an Honest Abe customer first approached Honest Abe about designing a hunting retreat. Later, the homeowners decided to quadruple the size of the home, and Honest Abe custom designed an addition that seamlessly integrated the original cabin.
Whether they are served from an heirloom egg plate or a plastic container or whether your family calls them “deviled eggs” or “dressed eggs,” this side dish is an Easter favorite. Try food blogger Denise Grisham’s classic recipe from “Man That Stuff is Good.”
Silverpoint Timber Frame
The Honest Abe customer who designed the Silver Point timber frame wanted something a little different. She custom created a concept, which long-time Honest Abe designer Melissa Copas drafted into an award-winning floor plan.
The interior uses Honest Abe’s timber frame system, yet outside it appears to be log because Honest Abe manufactured D-log siding for the exterior covering.
