½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted

3 eggs, beaten

¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 ¾ cups sugar

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup buttermilk

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 9-inch unbaked pie crust

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add butter to eggs. Add combined dry ingredients, then buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into pie crust; bake 45 minutes. After 15 minutes, cover crust with a round strip of foil. Let set about 50 minutes before slicing.
