The Crossville office of Honest Abe Log Homes has come a long way from the groundbreaking ceremonies in December of 1993. With an existing home already on the property, we built and completed 3 other display models which are a must see for the serious log home enthusiast. Directly facing Interstate 40, our display models continue to be the conversation of many travelers passing through the Cumberland Plateau in Eastern Tennessee.

Go North from I-40 exit 320, and turn immediately left on Crabtree Road
The Pioneer floorplan is built in the Genesis Log, which is a 6"x12" log-on-log style with an optional exterior chink joint. The home is 1056 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath all on a single floor with a sprawling porch across the front. The living room and kitchen are open creating a "bigger than it looks" area for entertaining or just spending time with your family after a long day's work.
The final home in the showcase is the 1792 square foot Cordova, which is a simulation of our Timber Frame or Post-and-Beam Style of construction. This home is the perfect chalet home for the mountains with a stacked double front porch to take in the view from the first and second floors. The Cordova is a 3 bedroom 2 ½ bath home complete with an open wood staircase and a large living and dining area. A very popular home for those looking for a mountain getaway.

From Knoxville: Take I-40 West to Crossville exit 320, Genesis Road. At the top of the ramp turn right on Genesis Road, go about 50 ft, and take a left on Crabtree Road. Go about 1/4 mile, the models are on the right at 448 Crabtree Road.
From Nashville: Take I-40 East to Crossville exit 320, Genesis Road. At the top of the ramp turn left on to Genesis Road and cross the bridge going over the interstate. Just past the bridge, make a left on Crabtree Road. Go about 1/4 mile, the models are on the right at 448 Crabtree Road.
